Michael and I had a great vacation. On December 1st we headed to Nashville for Michael to graduate. The Eby's put us up in their beautiful home and even let us borrow a car. We had so much fun hanging out with friends and being back in Nashville. I have missed it so much. We were able to go to mutual and see many of our ward members. The young men were so happy to see Michael. We had graduation and enjoyed going to see some of our favorite Nashville sites. Friday night we were able to have dinner with the Bell family. Thanks to everybody for your help and support. We could not have got through these past two years without the support and help from all of our friends. So thank you for everything.
After being in Nashville Michael and I went on a cruise. We went with the Ebys and they are some of the best people to go on a trip with. Saturday we flew out to Ft. Lauderdale and went through the process of getting on the ship. Our room was quite big and we got settled in. We went on a little scavenger hunt and were entered into the Spa drawing. Sarah, Michael and I all won a spa service. The ship was beautiful with all the staircases, beautiful fixtures, carpets, tile floors and the Christmas decorations. There were many places to eat yourself sick and we were sure to do that.
Sunday we had a day at sea and I was able to have a facial at the spa. Total relaxation. It was wonderful. We enjoyed walking around the ship and eating lots of food. We saw a movie in the theatre and then took naps. For dinner we were able to dress up and have a very fancy dinner. Every night the menu changes and they have beautiful and tasty food. After dinner we would go to a show and then back for more food. By then we would be so tired we would go to bed.

Monday we stopped at the Grand Cayman Island. The Ebys and us went on a boat to the middle of the ocean and swam with stingrays. It was a little nerve wracking at first, but then I didn't want to get out of the water. We were able to kiss the stingrays for good luck, but they wanted $20 for that picture so we just have a mental picture of it. After the stingrays we went snorkeling and then back to the island. Michael and I had fun walking around and then we headed back to the ship.
We had a great dinner and then saw another show.
Tuesday we stopped at the island if Roatan. This is by far my favorite place to be. The island was beautiful and very undeveloped. We decided to rent a car and drive around the island. The roads were narrow and very curvy. We drove to a place called West End and there was a beautiful beach. This part of the island is where all the locals live and so we had a great time swimming and walking around. We then drove back to the port and went to the beach on that side of the island. This beach was for all the tourists so there were tons of people. Roatan was beautiful and I can't wait to go back.
Wednesday we went to Cozumel and I did not like this port. There were many things that were inappropriate and so I didn't care to spend lots of time there. We did a little shopping and ate at a local restaurant. The food was delicious, some of the best Mexican food I have had. We even got serenaded by a band.We headed back to the ship and had a great night eating more food.
We had a great dinner and then saw another show.

Thursday we spent the day at sea and Michael and I were able to walk around the ship and eat lots more food. We saw a few different shows and then we were going to go miniature golfing when our ship started to turn around. The captain got on the speaker and announced that there was a distress call and someone was spotted in the water. The rescue boat went out and picked someone up. Michael and I think that it was a Cuban because we were close to Cuba. That night we had more great food and saw more great shows.
Friday we arrived a Princess Cays, Bahamas. This is a private island for the cruise line and so we had the entire island to ourselves. Unfortunately, Michael got sick and so he stayed on the boat. Sarah and I however went to the beach and snorkeled and saw some great fish. We had a great time laying on the beach and getting a tan. That night Michael felt a little better and we were able to watch Sarah perform at the Karaoke night. She did great. We had so much fun and it was so nice to relax.
Saturday we got up early and hurried to get off the plane. We arrived at the airport with plenty of time and had a good flight home. We made it home by 6:00 p.m. which was great because we were able to see the boys before they went to bed. It was so nice to be able to go and we were so thankful to have family watch the boys. We had a blast and we have great memories of our trip.
