What A Week
This week has been busy. Levi had his EEG, which we still are waiting on the results and he continues to push his limits. He is a two year old for sure and loves to be so independent. He now says "Don't push me" or "Don't spank me" (we don't spank him him hard) and "Don't push people" Time out does not phase him anymore so we are resorting to holding him tightly so he doesn't throw or hit. We went and ate at Arbys one night and he threw the fries across the table and then at church he threw his truck. (lucklily it didn't hit anyone). I am hoping this phase is almost to a close.
Even though Levi stresses Michael and I out, he still is the joy of our lives. He continues to amaze us with the things that he knows and does. He can be very polite when he wants to and so sweet. We love him and know that we just have to be patient with him.
Well the other big thing this week is that there is no gas in Nashville at all. All the gas stations are out of gas, and when they do get some the lines are blocking the road and then it is gone again. Hurricane Ike has made people panic so we have quite the gas shortage. Michael and I were really bummed because Bishop Bell was going to have a marriage fireside and he postponed it so people could save on gas. He is such a wonderful speaker and he loves the ward so much (not trying to suck up to you, Bishop Bell). We will be looking forward to the fireside in the future.
To end on a happy note, we have two active young women in Young Womens and then the 1st Counslers, niece and friend are coming. They are not members, but have been coming to mutual and came to church yesterday. I love being in Young Womens and getting to know these wonderful girls. They are so much fun and have such great faith and testimonys.
Hopefully gas will find its way back to Nashville and the price will go down, but until then maybe my house will finally get clean!

EEG Day!
Today Levi had his EEG at Vanderbilt and let's just say that we are all very tired. Levi had to go to bed late and be up by 4:00 a.m. He did really well for only getting a little bit of sleep. We got to Vanderbilt and they put all these wires all over his head and wrapped his head up. He did not like this. Michael and I had to hold him down and he screamed and screamed. Levi had to do different things like blowing on a pinwheel, closing his eyes and look at a bright blinking light(it made me very dizzy). They wanted him to go to sleep, but he was too upset to even close his eyes. It was very hard to hold him down for over an hour, but we are done. Levi got lots of new little toys for laying there. The lady that did the EEG kept giving him things to distract him. She was so nice. We all laid down for naps at 11:30 and slept the day away. We should get the results in a couple of days and go from there. We love our sweet little boy and how he keeps us smiling and always on our toes.

Little Brother All Grown Up!
This is my little brother Jordan, with his mission president and wife. He is serving in Spain and really enjoying it. We really miss him, but know that he is doing the Lord's work. I still can't believe how grown up he is. Levi will ask about Jordan and wants to see him, but we tell him that he is serving a mission. Thanks for your great example. We miss you and love you Jordan.

Sick Levi
We had an eventful weekend. I was helping with a wedding reception so Levi and Michael spent most of the day together. That evening I stayed to help and Michael and Levi went to our friend's house, the Holmans. Levi had been acting cranky all evening and was very clingy. I left the reception about 9:00 and I headed to the Holmans to play games. As I was walking to the apartment door I saw Chantelle very upset. She said something about Levi and I ran into the apartment and Levi had had a febrile seizure. Thankfully, Michael and Blake are nurses and we had many more friends there to help. The paramedics showed up but we decided that we would take him to the hospital. The doctor said that it was a viral infection and to keep his fever down.
I am happy to say that Levi is doing well. He is still clingy and if he doesn't get his medicine his fever climbs up. We have been so blessed to have such amazing friends who have been so much help. We are thankful that Levi is doing well, and know that the blessing he recieved from Bishop Bell and all the faith we had helped. I can't express my thanks to all who have thought of us. We love you and thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Thanks!
