Out and About

Michael started his Senior year last week and now goes to clinical everyday. I was prepared for him being gone all day, but he has gotten off early almost everyday. I take advantage of Michael being home and get a long nap in. Michael has been so good to watch Levi and take care of me.

Today we went to Opry Hills Mall and walked around. Levi enjoyed sitting in his stroller, until he decided he wanted to get out and push the stroller all by himself. I said that I had to help him because he would run into people. He did not like that idea, so he decided to scream and run. Michael and I both had to wrestle him to get him to calm down. After a couple more tantrums, we decided to leave and go eat. On the way home we saw lots of police cars, firetrucks and ambulances at a little strip mall. We drove over to see what was going on and a truck had driven through a store window. Levi loved all the fire trucks and he didn't want to leave. So another tantrum started as we drove away, but he calmed down and was happy to be home. He loves to play with his toys and have conversations with himself. (something my dad does). Even through all the crying and screaming we can't help but have so much love for Levi. He makes us laugh everyday and we wouldn't know what to do without him.

Adventure Science Center

So the other day we went to the Adventure Science Center and Levi normally loves this place. Today, however, he cried and was scared of everything. He cried in the corner becuase he didn't want his picture taken. He wanted me to hold him a lot which is getting hard to do. His friend Desiree sure enjoyed it. She sure is cute!

Unexpected Surprise!

I am so excited. We had an unexpected surprise the other day. We were blessed with a beautiful piano. I have already been playing and have so much fun. Levi will sit by me and play very softly. He loves the piano too, and has been so soft with it. Our apartment is getting quite cozy, but we wouldn't have it any other way. Well, wish me luck that I will be able to learn to play again. Sorry to the neighbors!

Trip from Grandpa

Well, I have been slackin in the blog department so sorry. Well my dad drove through Nashville a couple of weeks ago and stopped by to stay the night. We only had a couple of hours with him, but Levi wouldn't let Grandpa out of his sight. He wanted Grandpa to read to him, feed him, hold him, and play with him. Levi had so much fun seeing his Grandpa and Grandpa's big crane truck. Thanks for coming Dad, we sure had lots of fun and enjoyed seeing you. We miss you!

Well, Levi has had a eventful week. He got a huge scratch on the side of his face and then on Sunday he was playing in nursery and he got bit on the arm. It almost broke the skin, but only left teeth marks and a bruise. He had to tell everyone what happened. Levi has made many new friends in the past couple of weeks. We have had so many new families move into the ward with little kids and it has been so fun. Levi just needs to learn how to be nice to the little babies. He is really rough with them. I hope he learns before the baby comes in January. Only a month more of the heat and hopefully if will cool down. Love you all!

I love the water!

Levi loves to go swimming. He can jump from the side of the pool and isn't afraid of the water. He loves to splash and sit in his "fishie" Having a pool has been wonderful to help with the heat.
