Rolley Polley Benson

While I was sick my baby boy decided that he would start rolling over. He started last Friday and now rolls over all the time. Benson can go from his back to tummy and tummy to back. Michael caught one of his first rolls on camera. He is getting so big. At his 4 month check up he was a whopping 16 pounds and 9 ounces. What a chunk, but still my baby. Sometimes in his crib he will roll over and get frustrated because he wants to keep rolling over, but he is up against the side. It is so fun to watch them grow and do new things. Enjoy the video.

The other day I was talking to my mom and telling her that Michael and I have not been really sick for a long time. Come Wednesday night I find myself in the bathroom throwing up all night. I call Michael early in morning because he is in Louisville, Kentucky(2 1/2 hours away) doing clinical and ask if there is anyway for him to come home. I had the flu and I knew that I would need lots of help(I am a horrible sick person) He didn't know, but he would try to get off and he told me to call someone to help. I really hate asking for help, but I felt so sick that I called Afton bright and early at 7:00 a.m. on Thursday. She came right over and took Levi for about 5 hours. I felt better knowing that Levi would be taken care of, but still wanted Michael to come home. He called and was able to come home so he drove 2 1/2 hours to come take care of me. The hospital also gave him Friday off so that was great. I called Jessica, because we were supposed to go visiting teaching and I had to cancel on her. She brought me Sprite and chicken noodle soup which I love to have when I am sick. I have been sleeping alot and today I am feeling almost 100% better. I really hate the flu, but with a good husband taking care of me and my two boys I am feeling great. I ruined our plans of meeting Michael up in Louisville this weekend, but I am so happy that he was able to come home and take care of me. Thanks Afton and Jessica for helping out. Hopefully now I won't get sick for along time. (better go knock on wood)

THREE WEEKS OF FAMILY, FRIENDS, AND WIND

The past three weeks I have been in Idaho with Levi and Benson. I took lots of pictures so I am only going to post a few for now. More to come. The flights went rather well. Afton drove us to the airport bright and early and our plane left at 7:00. Benson did amazing. He hardly cried and was so good. Levi was pretty good. He had his moments and I got a few glares from people. There are some people out there that just don't like kids and Levi was very good for an almost 3 year old. We flew into Denver and I only had a 30 minute layover, but when your plane has to wait for a gate then it becomes a 5 minute layover. I was running through the airport with a stroller and 2 kids. The airport staff were kind enough to call ahead and tell the pilot to wait. I was the last one on the airplane and when I got on I met a wonderful lady. She was visiting her grandkids in Nashville and lives about 45 minutes from my parents. She held Benson for 2 hours. It was wonderful. There are such sweet people out there and I am so grateful for that. We landed and she stayed with me until my father-in-law picked me up.

We were so tired when we got to my parents house I wanted to crash, but Levi was so happy to see his Grandma and his aunt Shelby. They had so much fun together. They went outside and pulled eachother in the wagon although it looks like Shelby was just pulling. We rode the golfcart and enjoyed a beautiful spring evening. Later it would snow and hail and be so cold. That is Idaho for you. Cold and Windy.

We also spent some time at Michael's parents and as you can see Levi does not like the lawnmower. He cried and screamed until I pulled him off. He did love the fourwheeler and had so much fun pulling the wagon inside the house. He was so spoiled.
